The purpose of the Southwestern Academy of Teachers (SWAT) Small Grants Program is to promote research and innovation in the UT Southwestern (UTSW) educational community. SWAT is an organization of faculty from UTSW schools whose mission is to promote excellent education on campus.
Applicants are required to submit a written proposal and budget for a project that strives to improve education in the UTSW setting by innovative approaches. These projects may involve, but are not limited to, curriculum development, instruction, evaluation methods, faculty development, or use of technology. Projects demonstrating a direct, measurable, positive impact on the outcomes of health education will be most competitive for the award.
